Netio PDUs bring new levels of advanced power management and control to AV Integrators.
Today, energy use is increasingly scrutinised as businesses seek to make incremental savings to their carbon footprint and energy costs. The ability to precisely measure current, output power, voltage, energy, and more provides pinpoint control. Plus, the ability to remotely control, schedule, and automate power takes power management to a new level.
The Watchdog function uses NETIO smart sockets to detect Internet connection failure. It can also automatically reset the power to a switch, router, or microwave link. Another use case is restarting IP cameras if they stop working.
Remote management via the Netio Cloud increases efficiency and lowers support costs. Thanks to the Scheduler function, NETIO smart sockets make implementing a ‘night’ or ‘weekend’ mode easy.
Reliability is a vital area of performance in which Netio shines. Every device is built to the highest industrial standards. The product’s componentry, manufacturing and operation are all designed for robust reliability over time. Switching is staged to lower the level of electrical stress placed on components when powering up devices.
The Netio PDU range includes four models:
- PowerPDU 4PS – Four power outlets (4x IEC-320 C13). Each output can be switched on/off individually. NETIO PowerPDU 4PS can be mounted in rack cabinets – horizontally, vertically, or as a 1U device.
- PowerPDU 4KS – Four metered and switched power outputs (4x IEC-320 C13) and 1x DI (Digital Input). PDU measures power consumption (A, kWh, TPF, W, V, Hz) and individually switches On/Off each power output. The device supports local Ping & Power WatchDog and Scheduler functions.
- PowerPDU 8QS – eight power outputs (8x IEC-320 C13) controlled and metered over a LAN. It fits into a 19” cabinet (1U). Each output can be switched on/off individually. PowerPDU 8QS supports two channels for electrical measurements: the PDU as a whole (all outputs combined) and the first output separately (All Outputs + 1).
- PowerPDU 8KS – 8 measured outputs (8x IEC-320 C13) connected to a LAN network. Each output can be switched on/off and measured individually via LAN or the NETIO Cloud online service. It fits into a 19” cabinet (1U).
