The new HD515 is the price leader of the APT AV Pan, Tilt, Zoom (PTZ) range. It combines advanced technologies and performance with extraordinary value for money. It is suitable for all videoconferencing and live-streaming applications where USB 2.0 connectivity is preferred.
The HD515 employs many of APT AV's most advanced features and technologies across autofocus, image processing, near-silent PTZ operation, image codec flexibility and broadly compatible remote-control protocols.
Fully automated operation provides ease of use with high-quality output. At the same time, a variety of manual camera and image controls expands its suitability to fixed-location and multi-camera installations in controlled environments.
Sharp and colourful high-definition image quality
The HD515 features a large aperture 10X zoom lens with excellent optical image resolution. The lens combines with a 1/2.9 inch CMOS image sensor to deliver full HD, 1920 x 1080P video at 30 frames per second.
APT AV advanced image processing provides low-noise colourful images, while 2D/3D noise reduction technology reduces image noise and maintains natural image sharpness.
Advanced autofocus technology
The advanced autofocus algorithm provides sharp and stable images. AF is fast and accurate with an absence of hunting.
Manual image control
In addition to the advanced automatic camera and image controls, manual overrides are available for white balance, focus, electronic shutter, backlight control, and dynamic level adjustment. Adjustment of brightness, colour, saturation, contrast, sharpness and gamma curve is also available.
Near-silent PTZ operation
The step-drive motor mechanism and high-precision drive motor control ensure PTZ functionality is smooth and virtually silent.
Support of up to 255 preset image framing positions.
USB 2.0 output with multi-codec support
USB 2.0 Type A output supports H.265, H.265 and MPG codecs at multiple resolutions up to 1080P/30.
Multiple control protocols
Remote camera function control is available with VISCA, PELCO-D, and PELCO-P protocols via RS232 in and out and RS485.
